Trunk or Treat Coming to Western
Western is hosting a Trunk or Treat event on Tuesday, October 31st from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Western High School parking lot. If you would like to participate by providing a "Trunk" and handing out treats, please register at Trunk or Treat.

Even if you don't host a Trunk, you can help with this event by donating candy or other pre-packaged treats. Donations can be dropped off at any of the schools or district administration office.

If you have any questions, please email them to wsdcares@wsdpanthers.org or call 841-8171.

Bible Release
If students are interested in attending a monthly Bible class at Spring Arbor Church of the Nazarene, parents must fill out and return THIS permission slip. Registered students ride Western School District transportation to the church and are out of class for a little over an hour.

Optimist Ice Arena Skating Lessons
Optimist Ice Arena is offering skating lessons to students in our area with two fall programs. Click here for details.

POP into Reading Volunteers Needed!
We'll start POP into Reading! Fridays next month, but we need parent volunteers to pop the popcorn and deliver it to classrooms. It doesn't take long, if we have enough volunteers, and no experience is necessary. Students are able to purchase a bag of popcorn for 25 to enjoy during silent reading time. This is a big hit with the kids, so please consider donation a few hours of your time if you can. Click here to sign up on the Sign Up Genius page. Thanks!

Be Part of the Bean PTA!
The Bean PTA is always interested in having parents join regularly but welcome those that want to just sign up once in a while! Click here for information about our PTA and how you can become involved in making your child's school a great place to be!
